This is the story of Kyra Delfine, a 24-year-old woman who lives in the middle of the city with her husband and works at a local bar. Pretty normal, right? She receives an invitation to a better life-a life where she wouldn't have to stay married to a man she doesn't love just to please her mother. A life where she wouldn't have to wake up every morning to the sight of the man who destroyed her world.
