Yang Xiao Long isn't like most people you'd run into in the world let alone Beacon as she is the warmest person you'll ever meet and she does her best to bring out the best in her friends. Lately she finds herself staring at her good friend and book enjoyer Blake Belladonna, she's not completely sure but something about her just brings her in. Is it her eyes, maybe her laugh or maybe it's how she gets about her favorite book? Yang could never get it but she doesn't want to just tell her this in fear of her leaving alone. They were partners after all and she doesn't want to lose that connection so she keeps her feelings to herself. Now for those who don't seem to get her fear, don't have the same secret she has either. This secret she has is that she is one of the only dragon shifters left in Remnant, most think dragons aren't real as others think they are connected to the gods that made their world so long ago.

Blake Belladonna is an odd girl to most but she enjoys her friends so she doesn't mind not having a lot as she keeps to herself a lot. She is a cat girl to say the least and her people are hated in most places so she keeps her ears hidden under a bow as a way to keep people like Cardin Winchester from pulling them. She can't say the same for others with animal ears or tails in the school, she wants to help but she would become a target herself so she hides behind the book she's found to be reading. She would find herself looking at her teammate and partner Yang feeling so warm and comfortable around. She felt like the sun as she almost seemed to glow when she smiles or laughs with her little sister Ruby or poking fun at Weiss and it felt like a little family. She found herself drawing Yang in her notebook after her ex Adam but with the blonde next to her at the table they ate lunch at it was like being in an open field full of flowers and that warm breeze that always came through the windows during late spring and early summer.
