Raven is an elf from the poorer part of Oracle City whose parents send her and her twin brother, Oliver, to Magelore Academy to learn magic.
Akira is an elf whose father wants her to carry on the family tradition of great Fire mages.
The two meet at Magelore and, though they get off to a bit of a rocky start, eventually grow to like each other. But someone is threatening the school with Dark magic, and if Raven and Akira can't figure out who it is, the school won't be the only thing in danger.
Their lives are at stake.
