It's 2077 and nearly all the Miraculous holders of Paris have long since retired. One by one, the Miraculous have been handed down to new owners, leaving only Marinette Dupan-Cheng to take care of the Miraculous of the Ladybug.

It's 2077 and Charlotte Smith has just moved to Paris, leaving behind her life in America after an unfortunate incident befell her parents. She has no friends and no one else she can talk to about her feelings beyond her grandmother Zoe Lee. But when Charlotte stumbles across an injured Ladybug in the wake of a fight, she is given the Miraculous and a final request. Become the new Ladybug.
