For three years, war raged across the galaxy destroying everything it touched. However out of that horrifying war that Clone War, millions of brave men were created on Kamino. They were the Jedi's army, their allies, their friends. 
  The Republic never really respected them, but the few Jedi who did had a mutual respect from those men but soon lost everything due to them. 
  Let's go back in time a bit though. When a certain Clone Force were cadets and met a strange girl on Kamino.
  This girl would soon be known as...The Batch's Glitch...

The Jedi Rebellion had been squashed with the Clone troopers executing the Jedi. Unfortunately, the so called "Jedi Rebellion" had caused some casualties. The Empire was cementing its place as the new government of the galaxy, and with it comes a new senator of Naboo. The senator will help transition Naboo from the Republic to the Empire, but not without a few challenges and secrets of her own. Not only did she have to juggle her new duties as senator, but also her grief that threatens to consume her at any moment. She will meet a certain squad of deserter clones along the way, but are they friend or foe? Can they help her heal and teach her to move on or will she simply self-destruct on herself and everyone around her? These deserters seem to bring trouble whenever she's around. What started out as a simple oneshot of my Star Wars oc and Tech confessing to one another began to grow into something much larger. It was never supposed to be a full on thing, so that's why it's a bit weird/ different at the beginning. Anyways, enjoy getting to know her, how she met clone force 99, and dealt with order 66. And some cute Tech x my oc moments. That's where the story starts. So enjoy this different approach/ angle to how their relationship blossoms and grows. Trust is a fragile thing. Slow to form, easy to rip apart. For Jora Dame, it couldn't be more true. At barely sixteen, she was accused of a crime she didn't commit and nearly lost her life for it. "I'll pass," I said once I'd put the credits into a pouch with the rest and stuffing it into one of my many pockets. "I don't work well with people." "You're a deeply mistrusting person...and I respect that," he said, as if he knew my true reason. "But come on, you need the work. You probably haven't had a real meal in well over a month, have you? If this mission goes well, we can keep doing it until you get enough money to properly be on your own. It's not like I'll hurt you or anything. What do you have to lose?" I didn't say anything. What did I have to lose? Nothing. Not anymore. He was right, I was on my own, I hadn't eaten in days. This was the only chance I had, and if he was tricking me, well. I didn't have anything to lose. During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech. ~Book two to Valerie's story~ What was only one mistake turned out to be the very thing that possibly saved her life. Newly appointed Jedi-Knight Valerie Ortis thinks her old way of life is over. She made a mistake and she knows that but that doesn't stop her master from removing her from the one family she's come to know. Now she's stuck with this new team that she had no interest joining at first, but after spending some time in the care of Clone Force 99 she starts to question her jedi training. New feelings that she's never truly experienced before start to come into play and she doesn't know what to do. Should she choose to pursue her feelings towards a certain member? Or follow the Jedi Code? Valerie is of course going to follow her orders and suppress these new feelings. But things change when Order 66 is called and the Jedi is forced on the run and doesn't know who to trust or if she can trust anyone ever again. With no one to turn to, scared, and alone, Valerie makes a choice to put her all of her trust in the force and reach out to anyone who might hear her plea, and someone does answer back.
