To reach their Home, they will have to cross the so-called Equilibrium - the edge of time and space, beyond which the Promised Land will be waiting for them. But to overcome it, a great sacrifice must be made. 

It just so happens that Annabel Angelsborrow, an uncompromising businesswoman, is entrusted with a great honor: to open an Equilibrium and become the ruler of a New Old World. World of Nocturae. 

However, she faces an ambiguous choice between her duty and the life of Sarah Tkach, a simpleton who made her question her own beliefs. What will Annabel choose in the end: personal happiness or eternal power? Life or death?
