"then why do you blush whenever i look at you?" he began, head slightly tilting to the side as he took a step closer towards me. instinctively i took a step backwards. whenever he's around, i can't focus. all i could concentrate on was the proximity between us slowly growing smaller and smaller. the dragons in my stomach. i opened my mouth to protest but he lifted a finger up to my lips, effectively silencing me. his strong, unwavering gaze held mine, twinkling with something i couldn't quite decipher. "uh-uh. I'm not yet done. why do you never hold eye contact? how come you always avoid me when i've done nothing but look at you, hmm?" I don't know how, but he was much closer to me than he was a while ago. we were less than an inch apart.

"GRRR ARF ARF" he barked and tackled noah.
"JOAH!" I screamed, hands on my head. no, that's not it. joah would be their ship name. "BAYAR!" oops, both of their heads snapped towards me. "wait, no, sorry, I meant JONI AND NOAH!!!" i bellowed
