Xeralia knows she's different from her family. She always has known even if she neglected to pay the fact any mind. Her main focus for years was finding out why her older brother went missing- up until she obtained new troubles as her parents attempted to force her into an arranged marriage against her wishes, for the sake of preventing a war between two Empires. Her betrothed Verenian is the last person she has any interest in. Pitted against one another, each harboring a hatred-fueled rivalry, Xeralia is forced to acknowledge just how different she is. Despite their avoidance of each other Verenian and Xeralia become trapped in a separate realm of decay and nightmares, faced with a series of obstacles. Upon their journey to escape they become more unsure of what horrid events await them in their world.
