I guess you could call this my first "fanfiction". To be honest, I wouldn't call myself a fan of Handy Manny. I'm a 30 year old woman. But as a mother of a four month old who loves pretty colors, I watch a lot of Disney Jr. And as a writer who rarely gets a chance to stretch her writing muscles, I spend a lot of time thinking (also criticizing and generally making fun of children's tv shows. Case in point).

One day, as Disney Jr played, regardless of my infant daughter watching it, I listened in the background as a "Handy Manny School for Tools" Short came on. When I saw the talking screw driver, instead of comparing the talking tools to the talking toys on Doc McStuffins (don't get me started), I thought, "Yeah, imagine if that screwdriver was used as a murder weapon."
And thus "Handy Manny: Call Manny for Murder" was born.

Well, not born, per say, but it will be AWESOME.

Meet Kyle and Kate, two 15 year old students who have a gift for thinking fast, quick, and smart. Oh, and meet the other 18 kids in their class. Some call them genius, some call them annoying. PART 1 The year starts off bad enough, that is, with earthquakes and snowstorms. And finally, when things starts to clear up, the first murder occurs. Right in front of their eyes. It seemed obvious who did it, but as the murderer wrote her confession, a completely different murder occurs across town. Shocked, the police rush over to gather the evidence and clues, but before they even assemble their evidence, the police are led to another death. One by one, deaths occur around town, faster than the police can count. There's not much in common with all of the murders, only the fact that all of the victims come from one class. In the course on one year, the class of 18 shrinks drastically. PART 2 As summer vacation begins, the remains of the class split. Five students tell their stories of meeting new people, near death experiences, and funny incidences. PART 3 More than what meets the eye happened in the course of the summer. The class comes back to a new year, utterly shocked to find that 4 new students have joined their class. Everything starts out alright, but people are getting frantic. The government sent in spies to watch the class for suspicious behavior, two of them students themselves. Two other students are hired to try to figure things out on their own. What nobody realizes however, is what's important. As the year goes on, some of the students realize: -A secret passageway may not be limited to only the house. -The school has a basement -Falling down a flight of stairs can save lives A supposedly dead student wakes up from a coma, people start realizing things, all leading to the final, seemingly unimportant clue, that closed the gap from arresting the wrong person, to finding the real murderer.

my first finished book. I started writing this, when I was in 8th grade, and I ended writing it at freshman year. Warning: most of the book was written, when I was at school, meaning some stuff wasn't really researched (or was it?). And it may or may not have a lot of mistakes. This fanfic is was posted earlier on ao3 (since ao3 is cheaper, you don't have to buy subscriptions + some stuff to read it). This book doesn't have graphic smut, but it does have violence! (and pure murder). Currently, I'm writing my second book, which is mainly focused on what happened when Janna was stuck on Planet Europa 5893x. It has more murder, violence, royal drama, and maybe some romantic relationships (the only non-toxic ship in the first book were two 11 year old boys).
