Seeing in Two's While Dreaming in Three's

Bruce Mendel ran away when he was younger so he could do something with his life, yet in all his thirty-five years he never really accomplished anything. So when he finds a mysterious runaway on the grounds of the wildlife reserve he works at, he instantly welcomes her into his home, thinking of himself. Yet Blythe isn't what she seems, and when she gives him a pair of unusual headphones, Bruce is transported to a parallel universe. There, the world is still one big continent, some people have extraordinary abilities, and he finds himself only ten years old. Yet this other Earth is fraught with danger. A hidden assassin is watching not only him, but younger Bruce too, and both of their lives are at stake if they can't find him before he finds them. With a powerful punk rock guitarist by his side, he realizes that now is the time to change history, even if it is in a different universe, and even if it may cost his life.
