Bruce Mendel ran away when he was younger so he could do something with his life, yet in all his thirty-five years he never really accomplished anything. So when he finds a mysterious runaway on the grounds of the wildlife reserve he works at, he instantly welcomes her into his home, thinking of himself. Yet Blythe isn't what she seems, and when she gives him a pair of unusual headphones, Bruce is transported to a parallel universe. There, the world is still one big continent, some people have extraordinary abilities, and he finds himself only ten years old. Yet this other Earth is fraught with danger. A hidden assassin is watching not only him, but younger Bruce too, and both of their lives are at stake if they can't find him before he finds them. With a powerful punk rock guitarist by his side, he realizes that now is the time to change history, even if it is in a different universe, and even if it may cost his life.

But leaves behind some blood from the fight and a matchbook with his fingerprints all over it. And who should pick up the matchbook and swabbed the small droplet of blood than Batgirl at the behest of Batman. The only trick is he asked for the blood. Not the matchbook. Now there are a few questions that are bound come up, One. Will this new city anti-hero join the Bat Family or will he be on Batman's most wanted list? And Two. Will Barbara Gordon find the mysterious gunman and be able to tell him how she feels and will he reciprocate?

This is a story that I had originally made for a project in my World HIstory class. After playing a role play/choose-your-own-adventure kind of thing, we made a journal and then turned that into a story. ~*~ Allestra always wanted to experience the thrill of the ocean, even after her father had disappeared one fateful night at sea. Girls weren't expected to be able to do much, so to be able to make her dreams come true, she disguises herself as a boy to find out what an ocean voyage will be like. Follow her in the adventure she takes across the Atlantic Ocean.

Aldi lay on the cold floor, his heart racing and his body drenched in sweat. He had just experienced another nightmare, one of many that had been plaguing him as of late. In this dream, he was lost in a dense forest, pursued by an unseen creature that seemed determined to capture him. He had struggled and screamed for help, but there was no one to hear him. As he lay on the floor, trying to catch his breath, Aldi couldn't help but wonder what these strange dreams meant. He had always been a sound sleeper, but lately he had been waking up in a state of fear and exhaustion, feeling as though he had just run a marathon. He glanced at the old alarm clock on his bedside table, its bright red numbers announcing that it was just past four in the morning. In the distance, he could hear the faint sound of people reciting prayers at the mosque near his parents' house. Aldi sighed and sat up, rubbing his eyes. He knew he wouldn't be able to get back to sleep after the nightmare he had just had. He got to his feet and stumbled over to the window, looking out at the brightening sky. The sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon, and the birds outside were starting to chirp, signaling the arrival of a new day. Despite the fatigue and fear that still lingered within him, Aldi couldn't help but feel a sense of hope as he watched the morning dawn. Maybe today would be the day that he finally got some answers about the strange dreams that had been plaguing him.

But can you continue to love them after you find out the truth ? Find out if Joshua can still love Elijah after all that Elijah brought into Joshua's life. I don't know if the story is as interesting as it sounds, but it is good. Please do give it a read.

There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! The ideal audience for my first book is actually between 12 and 16, but anybody older and interested in adventures, cultures and in getting more understanding into our multifaceted world is sure to enjoy the story. I had barely made it a step when I say a man walking towards me. He too had a digital clock thing on top of his head too, except his had todays date, September 10th, and his timer read, 00:00:12. I didn’t know what to expect, but I wanted to see what happened when the clock clicked down, so I stood and watched him. 00:00:09, 00:00:08, 00:00:07, 00:00:06, 00:00:05, 00:00:04, 00:00:03, :00,00:02. I didn’t know what to assume for 00, but I watched patiently as he looked both ways and crossed the road, and then, just like clockwork, 00:00:00, and a car came speeding out of nowhere, and knocked the man down. He was dead. Somehow, between him dying and me freaking out, I had an epiphany; I saw when people were going to die. And then I officially had my first panic attack since my mom died. Boysenberry Moonchild Roxburgh is your average girl who happened to get hit by lightening, starts seeing when people are going to die, meets a soul reaper and his pissed off half brother, gets hired by death and is being constantly annoyed by a stalker black cat and her dead mother who she can now see. All while trying to finish high school and save her twin brother Liam who is going to die on their birthday. Yeah, Normal high school girl.
