Takes place five years after Fallen Kingdom. Is going to focus on Clarissa, Ian, and Maisie's relationship only.

With Claire's help, Owen and Ariana try to keep Maisie safe, but all the sixteen-year-old wants to do is go with her godmother. At Biosyn, Clarissa has made it seem to Dodgson that she is on his side. It helps that during the events at Lockwood Estate, Henry Wu thinks the same thing. Ian Malcolm invites Alan and Ellie back for one more trip, informing them of their best friend's plan.
In Biosyn, Henry Wu works closely with Clarissa Malcolm to fix the mistake he made. He believes he can by learning about Maisie, not knowing that Clarissa is a clone herself or knowing that Clarissa is part of the genome of his dinosaurs.
Maisie is happy to see her godmother there and fondly calls her mom, as she thinks that's what her biological mother, Charlotte, would have wanted.
