Keisuke Kenzaki is a young, kind-hearted man and employee working at the Board of Archaeological Research Department, or BOARD for short. His role in the company is as Kamen Rider Blade. One of two heroes dedicated to sealing away immortal monsters called the Undead. Things take a dark turn after the Locust Undead destroys BOARD, leaving almost no survivors.
Ruby Rose is a young and bright girl who started her first year at Beacon not too long ago. Beacon is an academy where they train the next generation to hunt down creatures known as Grimm, monsters created from Darkness. She was a prodigy of her year, so much so that the Headmaster had assigned her to be the leader of a team two years her senior.
The destruction of BOARD's HQ, and a mission gone wrong for Team RWBY accidently creates a rift between their two worlds. Team RWBY gets dragged into the World of Blade, and with no way to go home they help Kenzaki in the fight against the Undead and Grimm.
