All she wants is to return home but when Lucifer's plan starts to take shape she realises she is the key to destroying Heaven and she may be the only one who can save it. Razakiel has been the Devil's right hand man ever since the Fall. He despises Lucifer and everything he's done, but when he discovers Abbegael's secret he finally has a chance to get home. Because sacrificing the Devil's daughter could be the one thing to save him and Heaven alike. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Trapped within the fiery depths of Hell, her only chance of escape is him; a stranger, the enemy. "I'm not going to hurt you," he growls in my ear, "Neither am I going to hand you over to that Bastard." I flinch at the anger in his voice and confusion rushes through me. "What?" I squeak, attempting to get air into my constricted lungs. He sighs, the warm air brushing against my neck, sending goose bumps skittering across my skin. "I'm not going to tell him you intend to escape. How can I when I plan to do the same thing?" My mind whirls as I attempt to understand what he is saying. He wants to escape? But he is one of Lucifer's most trusted. How does that even happen? He's lying. "I'm not lying. I needed him to trust me or I would never find a way to get out." "You know a way out? Wait. Did you just read my thoughts? How did you just read my thoughts? I thought you were a shield!" Once again his sigh of exasperation leaves goose bumps on my skin and a shiver running down my spine. "I am a shield. It just so happens that I'm a reader too. Yes, that is possible. Obviously. Now can I let you go, or are you going to try and kill me again?" © 2013 by Froggie27. In a new world, there is no God. There are Heaven and Hell, there is Lucifer the King of Hell and in Heaven, there is a council which is made up of Gabrielle, Michael, and Raphael. The Bible only mentions the names of four angels from the countless millions that have been created. No one knows who created them, or how they found their way. They are Gabrielle, whose name means, "God is Mighty", Michael, whose name means, "Like God", Raphael, whose name means, "God Heals", and Lucifer, whose name means, "Light Bearer". All of them were good and held the peace of Heaven for eons. During this time, they created Earth. It was created so that they could trail run a new species, called Humans. But before they could really monitor the succession rate or oversee what was happening on Earth, Lucifer struck. It was Lucifer who rebelled against the others and who through pride, coveted the Throne of God and the worship that belonged to all of them equally. This resulted in a mighty war in Heaven. Lucifer, along with one-third of the angelic host was defeated by the Archangel Michael and was cast down from Heaven to the earth where he became known as "Satan", a name which literally means; "Adversary" as well as "Devil", which means, "Accuser of the brethren." After Jesus, who was meant to show Humans how to live, was crucified Lucifer swore he would bare a child onto the Earth and that child would be the end of the Human race and in return, Michael, Gabrielle, and Raphael said when the time came, they too would create a son to fight this devil child. That was roughly 1980 years ago, give or take a decade or two and no child has been born. Until now. [RANKED 79TH IN EARTH - 29th Aug 2018]

This is the oldest story in the universe. But it's not the version you know. They say the victors write the history books. The truth was the price I paid when I did what I had to do. I believe that when you see something wrong, you have to take a stand and do something about it, consequences be damned. And I did. That's how I became the villain. Lucifer tells his side of the story: watching his father change for the worse, and determined to make a stand for the humans he loves, he abruptly finds himself exiled from heaven along with all the angels who stood with him. He sets out to carve out an afterlife for himself, the other fallen angels, and the humans he knows will soon be joining them. Through it all, he must anticipate God's next moves if he hopes to save humanity from final destruction, and he cannot shake the feeling that war is inevitable. *Note:* This draws heavily from original biblical concepts and church tradition, but I weave it together and built on it with my own fancy. This is also not meant to be an attack on anyone's set of beliefs, but do know that Lucifer is portrayed as a protagonist and God is not portrayed in a favorable light 100% of the time (and functionally fills the role of an antagonist). If you are not comfortable with this, give it a pass.
