The Crown Chasers

The crown has always played a major role. Some pursue it for its power, its prestige, its promise of greatness... but some hunt it down for an entirely different reason.
Within these select few, an innate sense drives them after their birthright with trials and tribulations that challenge and undermine their very beliefs and understandings of the world they hail from.
But as stated above, these people are not solely alone. Other pieces of the game will manipulate, trick and deceive to gain the advantage and more often as not, they will succeed in their agenda.
But only to a certain degree. For the final hurdle will trip up even the most experienced of conmen. As the fire of the dragon is a trial that cannot be falsified and the wrath that will be poured down on the imposter will have permanent consequences... and promises for a new reign.
