A society where wing color defines who you are. But there is one color that gets you killed. But there are also humans, who don't have wings.
Kayden is a (trans) kid in this world and he's been forced to hide his wings so they don't know he even has any. He wondered why, since wings were widely accepted. he never questioned it. But on his 20th birthday, the year where your color shows itself, he understood why.

Finding this trait also gets you your wings, which is what every young cherub strives to earn. It's a crazy world where anything can happen. Encluding a rather odd pair. Pepper is a 15 year old wingless. The last one in his whole grade. Everyone picks on him and hates him for it, but he especially hates himself for it. He lives with his dad that does nothing but abuse him, and he has the biggest identity crisis you'll ever see. Then he meets the gyrokenetic boy Robin. Being able to tamper with gravity, will he keep Pepper on the ground or will he float away. *WARNING* This is a boyxboy and if you aren't cool with that just don't read it.
