Lynette was always ordinary - well, as much as a witch can be. Nothing terribly wrong with her, besides being a reckless, irresponsible child, and nothing amazingly good about her, especially when it comes to wits and wisdom.
However, when she gets sorted into Hufflepuff, while everyone, including Lynette herself, expected Gryffindor, she begins to stick out even more with her constant troublemaking - she swears it's unintentional! Even her dream of perfect Hogwarts years starts to shatter when suddenly she finds herself to be an arrogant, studious Slytherin's so-called rival. Now that was totally out of her fault!
While she is trying to fit in and be friends with everyone, including her Slytherin rival, everything seems to work against her as if a curse was casted on her (who knows?). And that Slytherin kid isn't making her life easier either. Not that he is willing to do so... Not when he starts to enjoy the situation a little bit too much.
Note: A slice of life type of "novel" with rivals to lovers troupe. I'm currently writing it for entertainment only, don't expect anything serious or professional. Also, this is my first novel that I write in English, so any tips and constructive critiques are welcomed!
