Bright golden lights glimmered in Nikolai's bright blue and green eyes from the explosion. His lips parted slightly in surprise as he watched his dearest Fyodor die at Dazai's hand. In his mind, this wasn't fair. Not at all. Fedya was supposed to die by his hand.

The blazing fires tinged Nikolai, Dazai, and Chuuya with warmth, the sounds of Fyodor's burning body were grotesque. Watching the flaming embers, Nikolai put his hand behind his back, reaching into his overcoat. His mind was racing, desperately searching for a solution to this. His Fedya was not allowed to die by the wretched hands belonging to Dazai Osamu.
