The Green family estate lies on the edge of a forest. It has been lived in and well-loved for many generations. A realtor bought it for a steal as a labor of love. A place for her growing family to call home. The property looks dangerous and creepy but gives warmth and security to the new owner as she decorates with things that were left behind by the previous owners. The house is a beautiful place with charm and history.
Until a mysterious treehouse is found and a strange boy is seen hanging around. Then, a new housekeeper and her son arrive. Ingrim and Mack become best friends despite their differences. They grow fast like ivy on the brick foundation. But as they get older, they realize that the tree house collects something more than memories. The Green family legacy began with another family estate years ago. Only Fran knows the truth and she has to keep the house in order at all costs.

60 parts Complete

A twisted tale of death, love, and magic. Enter the mouth of the face in the house... Featured on: "Stranger Summer Reads" (Wattpad Pick)- Summer 2019 Wattpad Homepage - Fall 2019 "Wattpad Classics" - Spring 2020 Rose White's little old house is filled floor-to-ceiling with books, newspapers, and other fragments of a life spent shut in from the outside world. She lived as a stranger to her family, who knew her only as a reclusive, lonely old woman. Only her great-granddaughter, Teddy White, knows that the woman was anything but lonely in that strange old house. At just ten years old, Teddy witnessed an impossible, terrifying magic there--one that changed her life forever. Nearly a decade after that twisted weekend visit, Teddy returns to grandma's house, unsure she can trust her own memory of the place. As she struggles with her newfound independence, she dives deep into the escape, and companionship, the house provides. For the first time she can remember, Teddy feels the warmth of love and security with her makeshift family--But there's a dark presence growing in the house that threatens to take it all away.
