My Fake Fiancé

"You may feel disgusted by me, Lillian. But remember. I'm your fucking fiancé. Not him".

The minute he said those words , the whole world tuned out. The chatter of people, the honking of vehicles, and the football match playing on television. Everything became just pure white noise.

I stood there, still like a lifeless statue. A thunderous voice boomed in my head and yanked me out of my shock, pulling me to the present moment.

"You understand?" His voice was loud and clear, like a punch to the gut.

"No," I said, my voice raspy. I couldn't let that happen. I couldn't let him treat me like that.
"No," I said again, clenching my fists to stop them from shaking, "You are wrong. I'm just pretending to be your fiancé. I'm not your fiance, and I will never be."

She wants to have a beautiful love story of her own but there she was, dressed up like a homely girl on the day of her engagement to a complete stranger.

But her life takes a turn and when she gets the power to change her future with one simple decision, what will she choose?

Will she do everything in her power to make her dreams come true or will she live with a broken heart in a life she hates for the rest of her life?
