"Reggie? Regulus? Whats wrong?" James tried to reach out to him, but Regulus pulled himself away. His chest felt like it was being ripped out, his throat being scratched violently by the attack of petals climbing up. His coughing got louder and more violent before finally a handful of sunflowers fell into Regulus' hand. James stared down at him, an unknown expression on his face but Regulus didn't have time to study him. He tried to hide the petals but he knew he was to late. James had already seen them, and he could see the obvious splatter of blood on his chin.
"What the fuck just happened? Are those sunflowers?" James once again tried to reach out to him, going for his hands, wanting to get a closer look, but Regulus snatched his hands away and took a few more steps back.
"You- you didn't see that, do you hear me? You didn't see it" And before he knew it, he was already at the bottom of the astronomy tower stairs, leaving James standing in the middle of the tower.
