this book is composed of 5 short stories each one is a crime story where we follow the next victim of a serial killer shortly live there life either aware or unaware of their impending death. but each serial killer is someone close to them someone they trust. someone whoes obsessed with them.

1: Head over heels
23 year old Noah lives a quiet and happily uneventful life in a quiet town but that changes when a decapitated male body is found at the lake.

2: boys
13 year old Peter(pete) lives in a city with his mom after his parents divorce, he blames himself for their breaking up and he tries to bring them back together. unbeknownst to him theirs been a series of kidnaps and murders of boys around his age all over the city.

3: Red heads
20 year old red head Charles is living his dreams life where he works as a news anchor for the local news just like his always wanted, that all changes when he reports on a serial killer who targets males that fit his description especially his red hair.

4: knock and kill
28 year old Robin is an investigator who's investigating a new string of murders where the killer knocks at their doors and when they open the door he cuts their throats and watches them slowly bleed to death and then leaves not closing the door.

5: i love you
19 year old college student Reynold has been getting love letters and packages from his secret admirer since the beginning of the school year, he and his friends thought they were cute until one day the admirer sent him a package with a letter cutely saying i love you but what was in the package was sinister.

i know the description is long and the story lines are weird and all victims are male I'm a little tired of the female victims in these types of stories, I'm not a misandrist or anything I just wanted to flip the roles for awhile.
