In an attempt to start a new, healthier life, Gon moves far away from his old friends and what is left of his family, gets a night job and starts new studies. He tries to keep up with his agitated life while working on his degrading mental health in the optic of a greater future, but odds seem against him.

However, things take an unexpected turn when he finds a pink sticky note on his kitchen counter, one sunny morning. It reads "Don't forget your umbrella, it will rain.". From then and on, his life changes with everyday, and for what seems to be the best... But is it?

A book that follows the linked late teenagehoods of runaway orphan Gon and assassin Killua.
