When Benjamin kissed a guy at a party he didn't think anyone would care nor notice. He was always a "one of" the football team and friend group, never a "the". But suddenly half the school knew who he was, and he didn't like that. He had to pretend around his parents even more, he couldn't just exist. It seemed like everyone wanted a different version of him, but never just him. He didn't know how to act with all these sudden expectations weighing on his shoulders. He felt lost.
