Edward Teach is a writer from Toronto who decides to go to his family cabin in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia one September. As he's settling in for a retreat away from city life, a massive storm rolls in that turns into a hurricane that is far stronger than predicted. Everyone else in the surrounding area has fled into town, but Ed decides to stick it out.

As the storm begins to gain strength, he hears a desperate knock on his door. A very wet and very grateful Stede Bonnet, who was at the glamping dome in a neighbouring property, joins him in the cabin as the storm intensifies.All Rights Reserved

Ben and Evie have found a nice place to spend the summer together. But they don't say exactly where. Just that it's outside of Auradon. For that reason alone, everyone agreed. (Auradon group: Mal, Harry, Cj, Evie, Doug, Carlos, Jane, Jay, Lonnie, Ben, Audrey, Uma & Gil) Zed and Addison survived the school year too and finally summer arrived. Zoey still continued to gland Zed with his nightmare. Especially since pieces of that nightmare sometimes came back. As if they are ordinary memories. Addison and Willa had found the perfect place to spend the summer. Zoey was only allowed in if Zed would keep an eye on her. (Seabrook group: Zed, Addison, Zoey, Bree, Bonzo, Eliza, Wyatt, Willa, Wynter & Buckey) Skye and her friends were busy. The whole time there were no reservations. Until three days before summer. Everyone was busy getting the rooms ready for these two groups. They were all single rooms so they had a lot to do. They had to get 21 rooms ready in 3 days! Skye and her friends worked hard. Kaylee was the only one who knew the name of the rooms. She hadn't said anything yet except those 21 rooms. (Lodge group: Skye, Sean, Ben, Danielle, Kaylee, Noah, Josh & Alex) So apparently Ben & Evie had reservations at the northstar lodge, as did Addison & Willa. Once Skye sees Zed and the others (the Seabrook group arrived earlier) she freaks out a bit but she holds it all down. When Evertown shows up after a week and books the last room, everything changes! Edward is heart-broken, angry and mourning a love he deeply needed. Now, there he is, sitting behind a desk, stabbing his dagger through a book. While the storm lashes, setting his entire crew on edge, the scribe outside the door knows he has a chance to help the Captain. The tea-cup flying toward his face won't change that- Slightly inspired by the song "Crush" by Doll Normal.

After an ill-fated visit to a very strange island, Edward Teach and Stede Bonnet wake up in each others' bodies. --- Just a silly lil bodyswap fic because every fandom needs one. This takes place somewhere around their co-captaincy, before the British and before the Act of Grace. Ed knows he has feelings for Stede, but Stede is still oblivious. Although this is a bodyswap fic, I've tried not to make it too predictable and to play with people's expectations a little. This is the world of OFMD, but with some magical elements. But don't worry, I'm making the magic something ethereal and elemental, so there will be no problematic misuse of actual religions and their beliefs. I suppose bodyswaps by their nature have some dubcon, so a warning for that I guess? This one'll get a little bit smuttier than my other stories, but nothing too extreme.
