Super awesome epic special action agent Tron is a badass dude with a gun and a whole bunch of bombs and explosives. His task? To save the world from a horrible and super duper scary zombie virus that is about to spread and infect everyone!!!

I'm literally so scared guys, can Special Agent Tron protect us from the virus and kill the super evil terrorists behind it? I really hope he can!!! Let's find out in this incredible story jam-packed with super explosive action, witty humor, offensive racial stereotypes and intense drama that's sure to make you tremble and cry tears as you anxiously await to see if our heroic agent can save us from this awful zombie virus.

* * * *

In all legitimate seriousness, this book's comedy is fairly wild. If you get offended easily, this is NOT the book for you. It's similar to the humor found in films such as Airplane, Spaceballs, Naked Gun, etc. You'll think I was high on methamphetamine while writing this book but I was surprisingly sane... somewhat at least.

But it's not just crazy insanity, there's other elements in the book. This is a project over two years in the making. It's got a little bit of everything except sex and smut. And no furry crap either. DeviantArt is the site for you if that's what you're looking for.

Enjoy lmao.

I have nothing but respect for these people and I want to make sure I'm respecting their boundaries; I won't include shipping or graphic violence. If you think I'm still crossing any boundaries with this story, please let me know; and as always if I make anyone involved uncomfortable and you'd like me to take this down, I'll gladly do so. Thank you! --- EDIT November 13th 2020: See the beginning of "we're gonna pretend (intermission)" for a full explanation of the state of this work. But, in summary, I took a six-month hiatus after chapter 7 was published, and basically just stopped writing. Chapters 8 and 9, an interlude and the epilogue, are the only two chapters I had that were at any stage of completion whatsoever, and were originally going to be the 13th and 19th chapter respectively. The first six chapters are still a completed "arc", and 7, 8 and 9 can pretty much stand on their own. The rest of the story remains unwritten and unpublished, but I at least wanted to get the concepts I did have out there for you to read. I'm sorry I can't give you a complete story, but, well, I hope you can enjoy this regardless.
I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room by Sean_Browning
36 parts Complete Mature
"This book speaks to anyone with a neurodivergent brain, that may feel like an alien here on earth. I swear Browning made me laugh and cry and question reality...sometimes all in the same sentence." -JD Todd, author The universe is a very strange place. It will take even stranger heroes to save it. Potto is dim-witted, extremely forgetful and incredibly naïve. He wasn't always this way. Aye-Aye is devilishly shrewd and has boozed his way into a comfortable existence of incompetence and sleaze. How they ended up being two of the most wanted aliens in the galaxy is anyone's guess. Chased down by every oddball bounty hunter in the known universe, and befriended by a libidinous assassin, a fire-breathing reptilian, and a telepathic tree, their misadventures take them past Earth (the mall planet), to a floating sex circus, a planet of killer stuffed animals, an underground spaceship impound lot, and to a planet of reasonably priced bungalows. All while flying around in a ship powered by the brain waves of a psycho killer. A great prophecy proclaims that only "one of light, and one of dark" can save the universe from the dictatorship of The Node. That can't be Potto and Aye...Potto doesn't know what the word prophecy means, and neither know how to spell it. Part sci-fi epic, part absurd dark comedy, I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room is a comment on human behavior, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. But way more fun than that sounds. So, do up your space seatbelts...it's going to be a bumpy ride. Despite the lack of potholes in space. (Sci-fi /Dark Humour/Absurd) *Completed! Enjoy! Long ago, humans with supernatural abilities began to appear in our world. These gifted humans possessed strange powers such as super strength, the ability to fly, or control over elements. However, these gifted humans were few in number. Soon, the normal humans grew jealous of their power. They shamelessly threw these "freaks" out of their homes. They were beaten, abused, and treated as slaves. Eventually, the gifted humans rebelled, and a great war began between them. This war would last for years and lead to countless lives lost. Realizing they could never coexist, the gifted humans decided to create a world where they could live freely. This world became known as Trabachi. Hundreds of years later, enter our main character. Luke Sky lives on Earth, where people had long forgotten about the great war and gifted humans. He receives a letter inviting him to Trabachi. There he discovers that what he once thought was impossible was actually possible. He finds out that not only does he have awesome super powers, but he is the chosen hero the entire kingdom has been waiting for. For not every Trabacian has forgiven the humans for what they did to their ancestors. And they are ready to take revenge on them all. -------------------------------------------------- Update! A Different Virus - Laura's Story by CrystalScherer
153 parts Complete
This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Is this fleeting shadow something that can help her or could this mysterious figure be even more dangerous than the zombies themselves? ---------------------- Ranked #1 Apr 10, 2018 (A huge thank you to all who read and voted!) This story is copyright and built from my own imagination. This book was a special request from someone who helped me a lot. This viewpoint has less action than the original. The cover was made by @All_AboutAssymetry. A huge thanks to her! Copyright September 2016. All Rights Reserved. Readers may not copy, alter, or steal this story. 63 parts Complete Mature
?Highest #12 in '#technology' (17 June 2018)? ⚛ Highest #228 in Science Fiction (30 May 2018) ⚛ "It's alright." I waved my hand dismissively. "I'm allergic to bullshit." ♧♣♧♣♧♣♧♣♧♣♧ Maya Scoren is unique. But she's not the only one, there are nine others supposed to be besides her; two of which never made it past their mother's womb and one who's incompatible. What makes them special, is also what makes them dangerous. Ripped from their normal, day-to-day,school life, family and friends with no warning, they find out who they are. And why they're alive. But fitting back into that normal life they missed so much is proving to be hard. Especially for Maya, who has a tendency to get herself in trouble and extraordinary situations ENTIRELY her fault. (She'd rather die than admit that of course) Old life brings the problem of boys, unwanted advances, homework, teachers and of course, a boyfriend with she had a rather uncharacteristic meet-up. Scott, Sed, Andy are her childhood friends all the way with her in this. Almost all the way. They didn't expect her to change or to come back at all and they are having a HARD time adjusting to the new Maya. She's dangerous, she's hot and she knows it. She has done a lot in the past two years that will catch up to her and stuff after that which refuses to stay hidden. Controlling CEOs, sensitive boyfriend, an obssessed boss is just the tip of the iceberg. And I'm not even touching the problems at her school. Will all this unwanted attention put her in trouble? Author's note: this was my first story ever. It has no proper plot or story but it's fun to read! Also, lots of typos. And grammar mistakes. Tons of them. Tons. You have been warned. (Actually not that many but you've still been warned)
The Virus Within (Original rough draft) by CrystalScherer
144 parts Complete
Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along. Definitely not a horror story, although it has its share of action. 4 updates a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday! Copyright April 2017. All Rights Reserved. Readers may not copy, alter, or steal this story. Fanfictions are allowed to use my *world* and *zombie ranks* as long as credit is given.
The Altered. by _fiinch_
81 parts Complete Mature
guys please don't read this anymore lmao i write totally differently now💋 _________________ In a future where humans are genetically modified -- 'altered' -- at the age of sixteen, the world has been, until now, a safe place. Without changing a person's personality, undergoing the Alteration perfects their appearance, IQ, and even their immunity to diseases. No human passes the age of sixteen without being Altered. In the blink of an eye, things change. An ominous message is sent out to all of those below the age of sixteen, providing precise instructions that suggest they flee. Simultaneously, a deadly virus starts to spread all about the world, attacking only the Altered -- every human over the age of sixteen. The virus eats at the modified human brain, and soon the Unaltered begin to realise that the Altered are losing their minds. Home is no longer safe. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. Set on a pristine, futuristic Earth, this is the apocalypse like you've never seen it before. (Rated mature for graphic depictions of violence and mild language.)
