Saudade

It is said that the way life works is: you are born, you experience a childhood, make mistakes and learn from them, you grow up and mature, find love and have children, and then ultimately pass on to the next life, allowing your children to say their goodbyes. I find this to be anything more than pleasing; to know that by the time I pass away, my daughter will be an independent lady in which she wouldn't need anyone to fight for her.
