Starting out as an actress at four years old and ending up a singer by the time she turned seven, you can imagine what that does to someone's mental and physical health. Gwendolyn "Wendy" Evans had started her career as a child star. . . and that led her down the fucked up rabbit hole that is Hollywood. Somehow, in meeting Michael Jackson, Gwendolyn understood that he went through the same things as her, if not worse.

The media spins their relationship as a 'whirlwind romance' and in the beginning, it was. As time continued, it was anything but the fairy tale everyone, especially their fans, make it out to be. Michael spirals after the Pepsi commercial accident in 1984, using pain medication to help with the pain from the burn, but he slowly gets carried away as Gwendolyn tries her best to stop him.

Interviewers such as Oprah, ask Gwendolyn questions about her relationship and she can't help but roll her eyes when they try to get personal details about him from her.
