When Eliza is forced to leave the Seam, the place where she has lived all her life, to take refuge in District 13, things take an unexpected turn for the better. She is finally free from what had been her prison, and there are reasons to hope for a better future, especially when the revolution starts taking shape.

However, moving on might not be as simple as it seems, and Eliza can only try to withstand everything that comes her way.

Gale Hawthorne X Original Character

~~~~~~
English is not my first language. I read the Hunger Games books in English, so when I had the idea for this story, it just felt more natural to write it this way. With the help of a beta reader (thank you so much Trutlewatcher!), this story has been edited and reviewed, but notes and suggestions are always welcome!
~~~~~~

The Hunger Games series or its characters don't belong to me. Only some of the characters in this story are original (such as the protagonist) and created by me.
