Lyra Penn- the rebel, who would rather spend the day with music and nobody around to bother her. She hates countless things, and would rather have time to herself instead of being with friends.

Ellie Byrnes- the school's pride and joy, who loves partying and helping people. She loves everything and everyone, and wants to try to become Lyra's new friend.

Lyra and Ellie are complete opposites. Lyra can barely tolerate Ellie, but when the girls meet in detention and exchange bucket lists, Ellie is unexpectedly killed in a car accident. Lyra decides to complete Ellie's bucket list for her, but will she do it? And if she does, will she find out she can change herself?

The Last Heir

45 części Zakończone

Lyra Hart was born into a world of abundance. An only child of wealthy parents, she knew nothing but laughter, security, and affection. Her family was the kind others envied-not because of their fortune, but because of their bond. Though the Harts lived in a grand estate and traveled in luxury, their home was never cold. Every hallway echoed with warmth, every holiday brimming with joy. To Lyra, her parents were her world. Her father, steady and gentle, made promises as grand as castles. Her mother, radiant and nurturing, filled her days with songs and stories. They spoiled her with love more than riches, ensuring she never felt like an heir, only like a child cherished beyond measure. Their lives seemed untouchable, their happiness unbreakable. But perfection is fragile. At the age of eight, Lyra's fairy-tale life ended on a rain-slick road during what was supposed to be a simple family vacation. The crash came swiftly, cruelly, leaving her the sole survivor. That night, Lyra inherited everything: the family name, the fortune, the estate. But in truth, what she inherited most was silence. Wealth could not fill the emptiness of their absence, and love could not be replaced by marble halls or the watchful eyes of distant relatives. Lyra's story is not one of riches, but of survival. Of learning how to carry the unbearable weight of loss. Of finding light again in the shadows left behind.
