Set one year after their previous adventure, Adrianna and Tommy's lives are completely upended when Tommy's mother, Terry gets kidnapped under orders from the tyrannical queen of Atlantis, Ceto. Forced from their home following a near-fatal encounter with Ceto's mercenaries, the duo take refuge in London, where they meet the AtlaRes, a group of heroic Atlanteans led by Dr. Laguna (Tommy's biological grandmother and true queen of Atlantis) who seek to rescue Terry and free Atlantis from Ceto's regime.

Along the way, Tommy meets his long-lost father, Miles, and discovers his true heritage, while Adrianna is forced to confront a traumatic event in her past when they encounter the Marapax, the mercenaries who killed her father, led by the ruthless Barracuda.

When her sister's displeasure with her grows worse, Muriel seeks to avoid it. In a desperate attempt to do so she finds herself cave of the sea witch Minerva. Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers. Philip's bodyguard begins to catch on that Muriel is different and Percy and the king quickly become desperate to find her. My own version of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid. She has a long way to see her pink tail fin works in the ocean floor.
