Mature
It's 1994 in Shadyside and Deena Johnson is an openly out lesbian at Shadyside High. This fact does not sit well with new student, cheerleader and the seemingly perfect "All American" ex-Sunnyvale resident stereotype, Samantha Fraser, who makes it her whole life purpose to humiliate Deena. Deena has only her best friends Kate, Simon and sometimes Josh to help her deal with Sam's hateful reign towards her, one which reveals something Sam has tried to ignore for years. Something she refused to ever admit or acknowledge. Something that makes her and Deena more alike than she thought...

The two of them navigate mounds of emotional teenage angst in a world that isn't impacted by the Goode's curse, but the tension between Shadyside and Sunnyvale still exists and is thriving.

There's No Escaping Goode

12 parts Ongoing Mature

People who see Tegan and Sheriff Nick Goode together always think that they are a perfect couple that barely have any issues in their marriage; and that they are so in love with one another. Yes, in the public eye everything appears to be perfect and happy and trouble free. But that's the only image of them that Sheriff Goode wants everyone else to see. Behind closed doors, things are completely different. Sheriff Goode is not as nice as he makes himself appear when in public. Sheriff Goode is controlling, always keeping track of his wife's every move, making sure that she's obedient. He doesn't want her traveling to her home town of Shadyside too much; afraid that she will tell someone of their past together, and how they ended up in a marriage, where the love between the couple is only one sided. Deena and her friends see through the Sheriff's act, and decide to try and find a way to help Teagan escape from her marriage as she in turn helps them break the bad luck streak that has been placed on Shadyside 348 years prior.
