"I hate my face."

He was just an ordinary child in kindergarten, carefree and no different from anyone else. But one careless remark changed everything. A single sentence shattered the confidence he didn't even realize he had, and the wound followed him through elementary school and into high school.

From that day on, he grew to hate his own reflection. Mirrors became something he avoided, and any surface that reflected his face filled him with discomfort. In his eyes, the person staring back was nothing but ugly.

Convinced that hiding was better than being seen, he let his bangs grow long enough to cover most of his face and hid behind a pair of thick, unfashionable glasses. He believed that if people couldn't see him clearly, they would have one less reason to judge his appearance.
