Summary :

Lady Elsbeth, the Dathomir witch, has built a giant ring ship -The Eye of Sion- in the orbit of Seatos. As she tries to reach Grand Admiral Thrawn place of exile, in another galaxy, the Jedi Ashoka Tano and her apprentice Sabine Wren catch up to her to stop her plan. Lady Elsbeth resorted to hire the help of two mercenaries: fallen Jedi Baylan Skoll, and his ferocious apprentice, Shin Hati.

After a raging battle on Seatos, Baylan Skoll seemingly kills Ahsoka, and takes Sabine prisoner, having her surrender the map to Peridea, Thrawn's planet of exile. In the promise of being taken alive to where her friend, Ezra Bridger, disappeared, Sabine embarks with them as a prisoner. But the journey to Peridiea is a long one, and not everybody on the ship is happy about Baylan's promise to bring along the girl. Especially Shin, who fought her twice, and failed to kill her yet...

As the journey to Peridea takes days, the two girls might have to get to know each other more than they expected...All Rights Reserved

But their differences got the better of their dawning relationship. Obsessed with her quest for power, Shin went her own way on Peridea, scaring Sabine away with her anger. But now they are both stranded on Peridea, with no escape in sight, they might have to cross path again. There is more than one way back to be found, as their journeys are about to entangle again inextricably. This fic is a direct continuation of my previous one : Storm of the Eye. It's Volume 2 of that Series. Both fics are on my "WolfWren Tales" Series. I advise you to read the first work, as I'm going to build upon that. Bound for unknown space, there are tales of many dangers that might get in the way of finding Ezra. Sabine is conflicted. She plans to destroy anything that might try to stop her from finding Ezra, but still wants to help people. Ahsoka wants to find Ezra just as much as Sabine does, but fears she (Sabine) may create more problems than she will solve. They both intend to stay out of the way of anyone doing their own thing, but something is brewing in the Unknown Regions, and it may be up to Sabine and Ahsoka to stop it. Note: I don't own any of these characters. They belong to Disney. Other Note: This story will contain, needless to say, spoilers. While Sabine faced Shin in the forest, Ahsoka confronted Baylan at the reflex point, where the map was. After her duel with Shin, Sabine came and swiped the map up, pointing her pistol at the orb. After the apparent demise of her master, Baylan offed Sabine a chance to see her long lost friend, and love interest, Ezra Bridger, again. Sabine hesitated, if she gave him the map, Thrawn will return and start another war. But knew she couldn't live without Ezra, so she gave him the map, and she, Baylan, Shin, and Morgan Elsbeth went to Peridea. Sabine met again with Grand Admiral Thrawn. After asking where Ezra was, Thrawn told her that he was on his ship. When she saw him again, he had changed... Changed into the very thing he sought to destroy... Her worst nightmare, and is now on a mission to save him...

As he struggles to defend the Chiss, Ezra realises that there is more than an army headed for him and Sabine, but a dangerous new enemy, who has been longing for the chance to kill him, for he took something dear from this unknown adversary, and he wants revenge... Meanwhile, in orbit and unaware of just how desperate her friends are in their battle against the Grysk and the cold, Ahsoka Tano must work with Thrawn, and Ezra's Rakata mentor: Soa, to try and provide much needed support to their allies trapped on the ground. As the battle rages, Ezra's student Thrana, left without a teacher, turns to Ahsoka to resume her training on a temporary basis. As the former Jedi tries to save her friends, she soon learns the key to saving her friends and the people of Csilla isn't on the ground, but above, and the Grysk warfleet will do anything to take Thrana before she can save them!
