"I was programmed to handle hard situations, Sir."
"Yes, but he was quite close to you, wasn't he? Did he say anything? Every piece of information he possessed could help us win the war. Isn't that what you want?" The Chancellor watches me closely, waiting for me to slip up.
"Of course, Sir, but he wasn't himself. I don't believe we can trust anything he said."
"Very good. We wouldn't want rumors spreading. If you were to get any ideas, we would have to start over, wouldn't we?"
I meet his eyes. He knows. He has to.
"Of course, were I unsure of your loyalty, we would fix it immediately," he assures me.
"Yes, Sir," I reply. "I know what happened that day. Fives removed his inhibiting chip, and lost his mind."
It's a lie.
All of it.
And we both know it.

noun
the quality of evoking a keen sense of sadness or regret.
The Clone War has come to an end. The Jedi Rebellion has been squashed with the Clone troopers executing the Jedi. Unfortunately, the so called "Jedi Rebellion" has caused some casualties.
The Empire is cementing its place as the new government of the galaxy, and with it comes a new senator of Naboo. The senator will help transition Naboo from the Republic to the Empire, but not without a few challenges and secrets of her own. Not only does she have to juggle her new duties as senator, but also her grief that threatens to consume her at any moment.
She will meet a certain squad of deserter clones along the way, but are they friend or foe? Can they help her heal and teach her to move on or will she simply self-destruct on herself and everyone around her?
These deserters seem to bring trouble whenever she's around. Or perhaps the title "Senator of Naboo" is cursed.
