This is an Astarion fan fiction, all characters mentioned from the video game baldurs gate 3 belong to Larian Studios, I do not own them in any way.
The story is in part what I imagine Astarion's life was like before he was abducted by Cazador. It's definitely a love story, where the main character is an elven noble named Evangeline. She and Astarion cross paths and they fall in love. He is savagely stolen from her and when she had all but given up on finding her little star again she happens upon a merry band of misfits outside of Baldurs' Gate.
It follows their journey to rediscovering their love and how she and Astarion begin the long process to heal his trauma while also fighting the main struggle set in baldurs gate 3.
Not a Tav x Astarion, Evangeline is a D&D character I created for this story, Tav will still feature but as a custom character like in game though not the protagonist of this tale.
I am by no means a professional author and these chapters might be full of errors and grammatical mistakes, I apologize in advance.
This story is not smut, there are however occasional intimate scenes and the language is intended for 18+ audiences only.
