Main character Darci Miller left her home city Las Vegas with her father and little sister because her father said that the government was lying to them. Once they got outside the city walls, she saw that the world wasn't like what everyone said it was. It was dead and had sick people everywhere, it was all a lie. That's when some bad people came and hurt her family and she wakes up in front of a group of teenagers. Will the teenagers help her? Will she be able to save her family? Will she still be told the same lies? Or will the truth be uncovered?
