In this book, we follow a human-like creature and her favorite human's journey through a world that wants one of them to go back to how he used to be, and the other to be experimented on and studied to learn more about her.
The dashing duo make quite the pair as they escape many deadly encounters, and create some of their own. Though their relationship isn't perfect and has its issues, it is the closest either of them have ever had to a true other half.
Will Kiran be able to handle this creature's need for justice? Will he even live to see his future? Well, I think we should find out together.
