She spent her life living in the shadows of her family, but little did they know the monster they created, just like the ones that hide in plain sight. They creep around at night, and you don't see them unless you are over those 50-foot walls. You only hear their vicious symphony of roars as they rumble and shake the earth around you.
Being part of quads is arduous work, but she was always the best, not like that mattered. She was always overshadowed by the older of the quads. That makes her want to prove herself even more.
As for her parents? Who needs them? Certainly not the quads, and certainly not her, she can survive it, just like she will survive crossing that rope on her 16th birthday, or as it's more commonly known across the southern hemisphere, Redemption Day. Maybe. Unless she falls to her untimely death.
