Alone is what we both are. What we thought we were. The last. The only. But we were very wrong. Honestly, I think I might be glad of that. But times are hard, and finding food for not one mouth, not two, but two and a frog's mouth is going to be hard. But then again, it was never easy. ~Elizabeth [Written by CelticLands

Alone? Yes, well. That's what we all thought, wasn't it? Just Flynn and I, against the world. That's how it went. Climbing, hunting, running. Always running. But now? Things have changed, things have changed an awful lot. And whether that be for better or for worse is just one of those things that has to be decided over time. ~Victoria [Written by abbiemca]

Interrupted Journey

53 partes Concluida Contenido adulto

One simple rule: anyone trying to cross the bridge must die. A simple journey interrupted by the sudden failure of all electronics; stuck miles from the rest of the family; we struggled to even return home as society started to crumble around us. As it became clear that this more than a local problem and that no help was coming from outside, we retreated to the remote family farmhouse with relatives and trusted friends here we desperately tried to gather the food that we would need for the coming year. But as the world collapsed into starvation, anarchy and cannibalism, we began to understand the true price to be paid to ensure we were to be part of the five percent that might survive this apocalypse. That price might just be our own humanity.
