In the fragmented realm of Freqterra, where the land itself seemed to vibrate with the echoes of divergent beats, society was cleaved along musical fault lines. Each faction carved its identity into the very fabric of the world, and the soundscapes that echoed through its streets spoke volumes about the inhabitants.

In the heart of this tranquil but resilient district lived Kai, a boy with neon dreads that seemed to sway in sync with the gentle beats surrounding him, who longed for the reconnection for the faction war to end.

But Freqterra wasn't a realm at peace. The competing factions-each staunchly loyal to their chosen genre-clashed both ideologically and physically. The dissonance between them threatened to tear the very fabric of the land apart.

Haunted by the mantra "I'm nobody," I echoed these words in my mind, feeling as though my entire existence revolved around catering to the happiness of others. Despite having friends, a constant undercurrent of self-doubt lingered, as if I were an anchor holding them back. In the shadow of my brother Adam's fame with the renowned band Three Days Grace, I was the family's black sheep, an outcast in our town. My academic prowess and hardworking nature seemed to count for naught, dismissed by my father as failure. Even my past relationship revealed a cruel truth - I was a mere experiment for my ex-boyfriend's infidelity. While my brother Adam basked in the heroics of our town, I felt cast aside, deemed a potential threat to other teens and shunned like a contagious disease. Despite my pleas for help falling on deaf ears for years, my existence seemed insignificant, unnoticed. The reflection in the mirror, one last look before I just contemplated ending it all, reflected a soul weary of pleasing others at the cost of my own emotions. With black lipstick, I scrawled a poignant question on the mirror: "Are you happy?" In the final, desperate act, as I pushed myself to the brink, a rush of relief mingled with the pain. Yet, as I succumbed to the darkness, a familiar voice called my name, disrupting the silence. Awakening to a hospital room, my feet tied to the bed, a blond-haired, blue-eyed figure lay by my side, a silent sentinel. Even in my darkest moment, he defied my wishes, standing vigil over the remnants of a life I sought to escape. The tangled web of emotions unfolds as I grapple with the unexpected second chance, questioning whether the bonds of love and resilience can conquer the shadows that once consumed me.

Rose Waterstone, daughter of the lead commander, is sent to the facility at the ripe age of seventeen. She was sent for the same reason as everyone else - to prepare for the threat of war between sectors. She was more than willing to get away from her poor excuse of a father, ready to take on the real world - or at least she thought she was. Upon her arrival at the facility she can't help but catch the eye of the facility leader's son, Colton Grey. He was your typical broody, dark haired boy but he seemed to strike a nerve with Rose. He was intrigued by her but nothing but hatred seemed to fuel their actions towards each other. They couldn't stand each other, for what reason they did not know. Maybe it was because she was so stubborn? Or maybe it was because he thought that he had some kind of claim on her that excused the way he treated her? A new threat arises, rebels. Rebels who are hell bent on taking down the government and destroying everyone in relations to them, including Rose. They are both forced to work together, to help each other take down the rebels but how when they both despise each other with every fibre of their being? How when their resentment for each other runs so deeply? Colton hates Rose but won't let anyone lay a finger on her. Rose hates Colton but won't walk away.
