He is a convicted felon and she works at the place he volunteers at for community service. He's not so smooth around the edges, but neither is she. They may hate each other at first, but will they grow to understand one another. He has a lengthy wrap sheet of charges and trauma. She has a mind that is broken and working against her. Will they realize that this is the feeling they had waited their whole lives for? Acceptance. If they realize that being imperfect is why they are perfect for each other, will it be enough? Will they push their fears aside? ~ Life is scary, but loving someone when I don't even have the language to love myself is scarier. To trust someone with the parts of me I can't even seem to face myself would be catastrophic. I couldn't stand to bring them down. But... Somewhere there is someone as broken as me. Somewhere out there, I am not alone.
