This is a one-shot story about participating in the "Triple Treat Halloween '23" contest held by 'Contests & Prompts' of Wattpad account @WattpadShortStory. The selected prompts are "A woman inherits her family's old mansion, but discovers it's haunted but the ghosts of her ancestors who have a chilling warning for her".

Synopsis:

Alessia, a 28-year-old woman, inherited an old mansion from her grandfather. Since moving into the mansion, Alessia has been disturbed by mysterious noises that occur there. One night, she dreams of a woman known as Adeline, Alessia's ancestor, who tells her about the curse that plagues the mansion. The woman warned Alessia to leave the Mansion immediately and keep her future descendants away from danger.

Despite the threat, Alessia decides to stay in the Mansion and along with her friends help exorcize the evil spirits that roam there. After overcoming these obstacles, Alessia grew into a stronger and better person. She realized the importance of valuing family and making the Mansion a sanctuary for future generations.
