The pair cannot stand each other, thinking of the other as arrogant and self absorbed but when the walls they've both built around them start to crumble, their annoyance turns into something more.

This book does a dive into the history of the Gaunt family tree and their in-breading so this serves as a warning. No incest is actually in this story as it is completely gross but there are mentions of it. This book also contains references to negative mental health. I am also saying this now as I will not be putting warnings for each theme at the start of the chapter because I find that it ruins the flow of the story. The characters have also been aged up to be 18 due to these themes.
