Twenty four teenagers are brought into a government facility for training. But not any training, training to test the powers passed down from their ancestors that most of them didn't even know about. Some will survive, some will be driven mad by the memories of facing their worst fears and others will be killed. In the time it takes to train them all for the final battle between the planets everything they all know will be proven wrong and two individuals will stand out among the rest and hope will be scattered among the people. But will that be able to save them?

Disclaimer: I wrote this novel before the movie Lucy came out it is in no way related but the premise of the brain and the powers eerily similar It is the year 2173. Human beings have evolved to use more than 10% of their brain, and as an effect, possess supernatural powers. Luna and Lara Valkyrie grew up in a foster home in the town of Westhaven, California. Both 18 and having been born on the same day, they were raised as twins, Luna adopting Lara's surname because of her own being unknown. Their eyes are changed by machines, and they are identified for the bright aura-like color that surrounds their pupils and contrasts against their natural eye color, "the sunflower effect".
