The Sage Lock

Marnie is a twenty-one-year-old girl whose life is anything but exceptional. She is the unpaid intern of a successful Y/A author located in the heart of Edinburgh who lives only to write her stories. Retellings of scrambled bits and pieces of her vivid dreams, her journals are filled with in-depth characters, settings, and plot lines that are conjured by her unconscious mind. One evening, on her commute outside of Edinburgh on the train, Marnie realizes that her train is veering off course from its natural route. However, she appears to be the only one alarmed at the tracks appearing as the wheels turn and the scenery shifts, noticing only then that the passengers around her have mysteriously disappeared. Her final stop? Willowbrae; a town that is eerily similar to the description of her dreams. Marnie begins to realize that her mind is perhaps a bit more powerful than she'd previously thought.

This is a story full of romance, action, adventure, soulmates, and most importantly - the passage of time.
