Spyro, a special purple dragon that's born only once every 10 generations is unable to fly and can't seem to master any breath outside of fire. Spyro is eager to travel the world, but his guardian, Ignitus does not believe that he is ready to face the dangers that lurk the outside world. He is forced to stay at the temple and he begins to wonder if he's even a special dragon at all.
