Mike lives in the Freeze Zone. He lives in the sky, in the colors that were painted by his ancestors. He lives in the Northern Lights.

Will lives in the Free City of Odrel, the city that used to be in the ancient country of Guatemala. His whole life, he's known these three facts: The world was split. No one knows why. There are people in the Northern Lights.

You heard that right, there are people in the Northern Lights.

According to history, the Northern Lights used to only be closer to the top of the world. Now, they cover all of the Freeze Zone, the half of the world above the equator. The Freeze Zone is always winter. Deep, frigid winter.

But Will is also a scientist. He studies the stars.
What will he do when he goes to study the Auroras?
