How would you feel if you found yourself in a different place with no memory of how you got there?
Well that happened to me and this is my story.
Hi, My name is Genisis and I am 23 years old, I was walking from my car into my house and..... well that is the last thing I remember before finding myself in a huge forest.
Dang, I am so lost, the only things I had on me were the clothes I had on and my duffle bag with my emergency stuff, you know like extra clothes, a flashlight, some granola bars, four or five water bottles and an emergency kit with bandaids, alcohol wipes, antibacterial gel, and that antibiotic ointment.
Oh yeah and my purse, that had my phone!! With no signal, and 911 not working, Just freaking GREAT!

Oh and I got inspiration from the beauty and the beasts stories but the characters and plot are my own, I love the idea of the Beastman stories and decided to do a fanfic with my own characters and plot.

Plot holes, spelling and grammar mistakes abound but it is only the third book I have ever written so please give me mercy and enjoy!
This is a very fast paced romance reverse harem, I also purposely did not give character descriptions , I wanted the reader to imagine my characters however they wanted. I hope everyone enjoys my take on the beastworld.
Please note that this a very rough draft and I will be working on it for the foreseeable future, chapters may be taken down frequently.

My Last Breath (Book one of The Portal Series)
BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. Part Of The Wild
I pull my canteen out and take a swig of my hot cider letting it warm my body, but got interrupted by my sister shouting at me over the wind. "Can you take a picture of me? I have to post it to my followers when we get back down the mountain!" I roll my eyes and turn towards her, I don't even have to say anything to her, because she knows i'll always take photos for her as annoying as she may be. I peel off my mittens and feel the harsh wind eat away at my bare fingers. I stuff them in my bag, before I grab her phone and start backing up to get a better angle of her. She stands by the edge of the cliff and poses. I snap a few photos then flip the camera to take a few selfies with her in the background, even with her words of protest. I walk up to her at the edge, feeling the snow crunch under my boots, and hand her phone back. I then swing my rucksack around to the front of me, get on my knees and start to dig around for my mittens. I suddenly feel the ground shake under me. Before I could even stand up fully, the snow under my legs crumble before my eyes. Holy fuck. The snow is coming loose and is avalanching. I already feel my body fall backwards as the ground under me disappears. I look up at my sister whose face has morphed into shock. My body feels as light as a feather. This is the end for me I know it. I brace my self for deadly impact, but it never comes.. A bright light flashes as everything around me goes white. I wake up to be laying in soft snow with my rucksack on top of me. My head spun as I sat up. I look around and all I see are large trees. In fact, these trees look larger than any i've ever seen in my life, which includes the ones on Animal Planet. Where the hell am I? I look up at the sky and I see two suns? Did I get a concussion?
