Time, something exempt from the shackles of nature, it is independent, curious and ever-changing. It almost never bowed to anyone. So when time decided to play a little, chaos was right behind her, striding confidently as if he knew it was his time to unfold.

So when the girls, the righteous daughters of the mother, with a solemn and reassuring smile on their faces fell together into the depths of the blue, he who wielded time accepted their wish, and thus humankind recieved a second chance.

All is found when Princess Shivanya of Hastinapur and Princess Madhavi of Dwarka reach their age of maturity and are suddenly enlightened about their mission, their fate, their second chance.

While the bestfriends turned sisters try to unfurl the messy knot of chaos, the almighty sits back to watch.

Would the mortal girls succeed or will humanity be doomed all over again?

Where the earth, long a witness to the desecration of a woman's honour, bleeds anew, seeking to redefine mankind. But time is a fickle keeper of secrets, and what was buried shall rise again. The past is not merely a memory-it is a debt yet unpaid, a promise yet unfulfilled. Bound by fate and entangled in the savagery of mankind, they stand at the precipice of a world where Dharma wanes, and the truth is veiled in shadow. And so, as the voyage of time anchors them in a place unknown yet divine, their journey begins-a quest not only for remembrance but for reckoning. The greenish-blue orbs stared at the group gathering below as she hide behind the curtain watching the crowd. Maharishi, gurus, yogis from all over were sitting infront if the large fire chanting the sacred mantras. Her kohl drawn eyes widened as she let out a gasp, stumbling behind. Her face turned into a rosy flush as a strong hand gripped her shoulders, preventing her from falling down. " Brother...I," She began, blushing brightly as the man placed his finger on her pale lips before walking past her. She pouted and elbowed his ribs, peering from behind him. " I want to see! What's so special ?" She huffed, crossing her hands over her chest as she pouted. " Curiosity Killed the Cat...Come along...if Maharaj found us sneaking around...he would be extremely displeased," The handsome man said as he gripped her hand firmly and dragged her away. She turned her face and sighed seeing Maharaj Draupad face beaming with pride and happiness as he loudly proclaimed that Lord Shiva has blessed him and the entire Panchal nation. " Will he ever look at me like that?," she asked in a forlorn tone causing the elder man to sigh and wrap his arms around her. " I hope not! You my little one deserves more than his desire for revenge," Satyajit said as he pat her shoulder. ****************************************** Aaratrika's life changed the moment her parents conducted the yagna. She became the forgotten princess of Panchal in the awakening of Panchali. Torn apart between her feelings with Hastinapur's crown prince's, she must decide if Duryodhan is worth her father's wrath or is her feelings for Yusdhistir worth her sister's marriage. Rewritten from my original story which I took down due to some personal issues. Aaratrika...Princess...Queen...most importantly Mahabharata's Unknown Mistress...the woman who watched every plot...scheme's...and idea and yet remain behind the shadows never to be known.
Falling In Love - Dwaparyug (Coming Back In 2026) by writes_shree_
20 parts Ongoing Mature
In a world where time bends and destiny weaves its own mysterious patterns, eight sisters from Kalyug - modern, spirited, curious - find themselves unexpectedly thrown back into the ancient and divine Era of Dwaparyug, the time of the Mahabharata. As they step into the grand courts of Hastinapur, the sacred lands of Kurukshetra, and the majestic halls of Indraprastha, they come face to face with legends they had only read about in scriptures: the valiant Pandavas, the wise Krishna, the mighty Bhishma, the fierce Karna, and the misunderstood Duryodhan. But this is not the Mahabharata you know. What if one of these sisters is none other than Mahalakshmi herself, incarnated without her own knowledge, drawn by cosmic design to restore the balance of fate? What if the infamous Dyut Sabha (the game of dice) still happened, but Duryodhan was not the mastermind behind it - what if he, too, was a noble-hearted prince, caught in the web of palace politics? What if Karna, instead of being torn between loyalty and dharma, stood firmly as a royalist, adopted by bhishma & the only way to tie pandav & kaurav In this twist of imagination, love blooms across time, as the sisters' modern hearts connect with the ancient souls of the epic's heroes. Bonds of love, respect, rivalry, and sacrifice are tested across centuries. This story is purely a work of fiction, a heartfelt tribute and imaginative reweaving of the epic Mahabharata. No disrespect is intended toward the original scripture, its divine characters, or the beliefs surrounding them. If you're sensitive to fictional reinterpretations, you may kindly choose to skip this. For those ready to dive into the depths of this reimagined tale, I invite you: step into the ocean of this book and discover a Mahabharata where fate itself gets a second chance. "Stop following me! Just let me go and leave me in peace!" she pleaded, struggling against his unrelenting grip. "I won't. Not today, not ever. Not after finding you again," he said firmly. "I don't belong here. This isn't my place. Let me go," she begged, desperation in her voice. He shook his head. "You've always belonged. Since the beginning of time, we were meant to be together." "You'll never convince me," she snapped. "I won't be part of this farce or let you treat me like an object without a will of my own." "It's not a farce. It's as real as the sun, and you will be part of it-whether you want to or not. Your only desire should be our companionship," he declared. "Please," she whispered, one last plea as her hand inched toward her waistband. "The only thing left to do... do it for her, if not for love. " he ordered. "For love?" she murmured, shaken. Then her expression hardened. "But love was never an option," she spat, her voice dripping with disgust-before she struck with full force. It wasn't supposed to end like this. Anwesha-once a soldier by choice, not birth-had embraced duty for her nation. But one failed mission led her to the dark waters of the Ganges. Caught in a whirlpool, she accepted death like an old friend. Yet, she didn't die. She woke up in another timeline, but here, she didn't belong. A misfit, a lone coal in a chest of gold. She wasn't chosen by fate, nor favored by the gods-just an accident struggling to return home. But every path back was closed. Trapped, she resolved to be a silent observer. Yet fate had other plans. She crossed paths with the Scions of Kuru, a dynasty shaping history itself. She hadn't intended to get involved, but now she was entangled in their world, for better or worse. Can she survive in this era, or will she find her way back? More importantly-who is she, really? And why her? After all, nothing in this world, or beyond it, is mere coincidence. • Book I ~ Stuck In Time Series •

HER DEMON A story of the forbidden, the fated, and the fire that never died. The demon. Her demon. She was the moon-gentle, serene, cloaked in a glow that calmed the wildest storms. But behind that soft smile lay unspoken chaos... a soul that had seen lifetimes, a fire buried deep under elegance. And he-he was the night. Not just its silence, but its shadows. Proud, raw, raging. A storm that no one dared to tame. A fire that burned everything it touched. They were night and moon. Darkness and glow. Clash and calm. Broken and whole. Incomplete... without each other. For only her devil could command his demon. Only her voice could silence his wrath. Only her presence could still the war within him. But what if the universe-tired of watching history repeat pain-chose to intervene? What if Narayan decided to play again, not with a flute this time, but with fate itself? What if the great Mahabharat, written in stone, was granted a new page? What if Duryodhan, the king of lost causes, the misunderstood warrior of Hastinapur, was given another chance? Not to change the war-but to change the reason he went to war. Not to reclaim a throne- And what if two hearts from Kaliyug, separated by time and tragedy, were reborn in Dwaparyug? Carrying the memories, the madness, the ache of a love that never found its forever? He was known as Hridav-fierce, feared. She was known as Vriddhi-graceful, wild, divine. But the time played & made them Duryodhan and Vartika. This is not the Mahabharat you know. This is the Mahabharat Krishna chose to rewrite. A tale where love is darker than war. Where the demon is not evil-but deeply human. And where the heroine doesn't slay the monster... she loves him. HER DEMON A story of souls reborn. Of fate reshaped. Of a love so fierce, even time dared not touch it. #1 in yudhishthir #2 in narayan
