Audrina Martin, a cluelessly gorgeous introvert, moved from the always sunny California to the constantly cloudy state of Washington. She believed that her and her father were moving to start a new life after her mother passed, but little did she know this move had been originally planned with her mother still in the picture. Anxious of how this speck on a map town would perceive her, nothing she expected became reality. She wanted to believe that Elma was a tiny town where everything would be steady and normal--and it was; as well as her father and her school goes--it just turned out that she wasn't...and neither was he. Audrina would come to face things she'd never thought possible, but she grew up a believer--taught to be accepting of anything with good intent; but what happens when intentions become blurred? "The crazier the belief the better", her father would say, and she had no choice but to believe--especially when those myths became reality.

{COMPLETED!!} Autumn is ordinary. Completely ordinary. She goes to school, gets yelled at by her mom, comes home, gets yelled at more; normal. One day, the chain of mundane breaks, when she comes home to find two teens with a pitch in her house. They invite her to live with them, where she can be happier. Autumn reluctantly agrees, but she still has mountains of questions. How do they know her name? Why have they come to her? And why do they all act so suspicious around her? These questions make Autumn realize that things aren't ordinary in her new home, either. Thanks to Leila, for proof-reading, brainstorming, and helping me with this book. She deserves much more than just having a character named after her. ((Inspired by Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children))
